Tiles, Marbles & Ceramic
Diamond blades for cutting ceramic tile are generally continuous rim diamond blades. The smooth continuous rim provides for clean cuts in ceramic tile. Occasionally, tile blades will have a serrated turbo rim, usually on dry cut tile blades.
Diamond blades for cutting tile are available in both wet diamond blades and dry diamond blades. Generally speaking, wet cutting tile blades will perform better than dry.
Most often a good general purpose diamond blade like the CoolMan N Series will cover most applications, however, you should consider changing to specific blades if you are going to be cutting either really hard materials like porcelain tile and stone or very soft material like wall tile.
