Walk Behind Saw Blade

Asphalt cutting can be tricky because it is way too easy to cut. However, without using the right blade with the right technology, asphalt cutting can be very costly. Asphalt is made of more than 90% aggregates and a petroleum-based “asphalt glue”. The high abrasiveness will cause the wear and tear of the diamond bond at a faster rate, especially when users are using the wrong blade for the job.

The age of concrete is generally determined by the amount of time after the initial pour. Green concrete is usually fresh in 8 hours’ time. During this stage, the green concrete is extremely abrasive. Using the wrong diamond blade will cause a big loss to the user as the wearing rate of a diamond bond will be tremendously fast. Cutting at this stage is usually for control joints to prevent shrinkage cracks. After 72 hours, the concrete is now considered cured, this will be the right time to use our COOLMAN® PDA-C, FSL and DBS series Cutting Blade.
